Manuel Yepez is a native of the Galápagos, as were his parents and grandparents.
He began as a fisherman and then decided to use his first boat SharkSky to transport tourists between the islands. Little by little he began to organize snorkel tours. With a lot of hard work and focus, he expanded his services to include an all-inclusive 4-day tour for foreign volunteers working on the islands. Day after day, he pursued his dream of having his own agency until it finally came true. He is renowned and admired on the islands for his extensive knowledge and care of his beloved islands. He will always know the right person to contact and the right places to visit. . .He dives, snorkels, and bikes, but his favorite activity is playing soccer. You are always welcome to come and cheer his team on Sundays in one of the highland “quintas” (farms).
Aline Louvet is from France. She studied tourism and has worked in many different tourism hot-spots before coming to Ecuador. Before helping to establish SharkSky Eco-Adventures Galapagos, Aline worked for 2 years as a local tour operator on the mainland.. She likes horseback riding, hiking, and snorkeling. With SharkSky, she manages all sales and operations as well as enjoying the island lifestyle!
Tina Helbling – Yepez is from Switzerland and speaks German, Spanish and English. She started to work at SharkSky as a tour leader and tour manager on cruise and Island Hopping tours. She will be always be attentive to your needs and looks forward to making your time in the Galapagos unforgettable. She is also in charge of all sailors’ associations. Tina knows all of the procedures and tips if you ever think of coming to Galapagos with your own yacht. She loves to snorkel and to meet new people from all over the world.
Andrea Vasquez is our agent on Isabela Island and is in charge of organizing all tours and activities there. She is a native of Isabela and knows the island inside out. She is very responsible and helpful, and is always looking to improve. Apart from her work at SharkSky, she studies business management. In her free time she likes to go snorkeling around her beautiful island, go salsa dancing with her friends or simply spend time with her family.
